Here's a little peek at last week's dramatic session at Made-Well CIC. . . ...

With Rob away last week, Jess Squire picked up the Entertainingly Different baton and led some lovely scrummy activities at Made-Well last Friday. We all had a great time celebrating the treats of the week in a Valentine's Day and Pancake Day themed Drama session. Rob is back this week for what will be his last visit and we just can't wait to see what he has planned as we are pretty sure he'll finish with a bang!

This afternoon saw another live edition of ARTZ4U and Rob Pudner was delighted to be joined in the Soundart Radio 102.5 FM | Community Radio Station for Totnes studio by dynamic duo Sam and Ross from Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship who talked about 'Spamalot'; which you can catch at the Devonport Playhouse, Plymouth at the end of March. Jess paid a visit to Made-Well yesterday morning and led a Valentine's themed session, but more of that later, in the meantime here's a look at last week's Ancient Greek session and Rob doing his best witch impression! ...

Question: What do Aeolus, the greek god of the winds and Circe the Witch 🧙‍♀️ have in common? Answer: They both featured in last week's dramatic 🎭 session where we continued our 'Odyssey' adventure. After a brief warm up and recap of the story so far we enjoyed trying to guess what was in the sack given to Odysseus and his men by Aeolus and then tossing a balloon on a sheet as we imagined it was a boat 🚤 being tossed on the sea 🌊. We then took in turns at playing the part Circe or Odysseus in a game similiar to 'stuck in the mud'. Rob in Circe mode cast a spell on us one by one and turned us into pigs 🐷 and we all agreed that Rob makes a good Witch! We then smelt a posy made of sage 🌿 , thyme and lavender and talked about what it made us think off before being released from the spell by pretending to drink a strange brew made from herbs. We finished what was another fabulous session by singing 🎤 and dancing 🕺 to songs which had some connection to the themes of the session 😀...
